While the plugin seems to be abandoned anyway, it’s worth noting for those interested in the idea that the main MP6 plugin now allows users to choose between several colour schemes via their user profile page — including a light one.

The light skin works fine, except that the title of widget areas in the widget area of the backend is invisible. Switching to the light MP6 theme needs to include changing the font color for widget area titles.
