These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of StatWP (the “Service”), including our website, tools, and paid plans. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. The Service

StatWP provides analytics, research tools, and related features for WordPress.org plugins and themes. Data may include public directory information, derived estimates (such as install ranges), trends, and tools like niche research and readme checks. Estimates and rankings are informational only and are not guarantees of marketplace performance.

2. Accounts

You may sign in with Google. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your Google account secure. You must provide accurate information and be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country).

3. Plans and billing

Core stats may be available without a paid plan. Paid features (Enthusiast, Power User, and similar tiers) are billed through our payment processor, Paddle. Prices, limits, and features are described on our pricing page and may change. Subscriptions renew until canceled according to the terms shown at checkout and in your account. Refunds and cancellations are described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy and are also subject to Paddle’s buyer policies and any rights required by applicable law.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, overload, or abuse the Service or its underlying data sources
• Bypass plan limits, paywalls, or access controls (including by tampering with client storage or forged requests)
• Resell or redistribute the Service without our written permission
• Use the Service for unlawful, deceptive, or harmful purposes
• Interfere with other users or with Service security or integrity

5. Intellectual property

StatWP, its branding, UI, and original software are owned by us or our licensors. WordPress and WordPress.org are trademarks of their respective owners; we are not affiliated with or endorsed by the WordPress Foundation. Public directory data remains subject to the policies of its source.

6. Disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant uninterrupted availability, error-free data, or fitness for a particular business decision. You use estimates, rankings, and research outputs at your own risk.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) amounts you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim or (b) USD $50.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms, abuse, non-payment, or to protect the Service or other users. Sections that by nature should survive (including disclaimers and liability limits) survive termination.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date on this page. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
