StatWP
Refund & Cancellation Policy
Effective August 4, 2026
This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for StatWP paid plans. It should be read with our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. Billing for paid plans is processed by Paddle, our merchant of record.
1. Free plan
Core StatWP features on the Casual (free) plan do not require a subscription and have no charge to refund.
2. Free trials
Paid plans may include a free trial (for example 7 days) as shown at checkout. You can cancel during the trial in Account so you are not charged when the trial ends. If a payment method is charged after the trial because the subscription was not canceled in time, the charge is treated as a normal paid period under the sections below.
3. How to cancel
You may cancel a paid subscription at any time from your Account page (or via Paddle’s customer portal when linked from Account). Cancellation stops future renewals. Unless stated otherwise at checkout, you keep access until the end of the current billing period that was already paid.
4. Refunds
- Merchant of record. Paddle handles payment collection, invoices, tax, and many buyer refund requests under Paddle’s buyer policies and applicable law.
- Requests. To ask about a refund, email support@statwp.com with the email on your StatWP / Paddle account and approximate charge date. We (or Paddle) will review in line with this policy and Paddle’s processes.
- Eligible situations. We generally consider refunds for duplicate charges, clear billing errors, or when required by law (including cooling-off or consumer rights that apply in your country).
- Discretionary goodwill. For other cases (for example unused time shortly after purchase), we may offer a partial or full refund at our discretion, especially within a short window after the first charge. Heavy use of paid features or repeated refund requests may be declined.
- Non-refundable in general. Except where law requires otherwise, we do not routinely refund completed paid periods solely because you changed your mind after substantial use, or for dissatisfaction with third-party WordPress.org data, estimates, or rankings that are informational only.
5. Chargebacks
If you dispute a charge with your bank or card issuer, Paddle and we may suspend access while the dispute is open. Contact support@statwp.com first so we can help resolve billing issues without a chargeback when possible.
6. Plan changes
Upgrades and downgrades are handled through Paddle according to the options shown in Account. Proration and timing follow Paddle’s billing rules and what you confirm at the time of the change.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The effective date at the top of the page will change when we do. Continued use of paid plans after an update means you accept the revised policy for future charges.
