Works as it is supposed to. Only improvement I can think of would be a way to disable certain taxonomies, for example for tags.

Just as the author states it seems to be hard to find a plugin that adds filter dropdowns for custom taxonomies in the repo. This one did the job. BTW, the author should add screen shots to the description, may give it more traction....
