This plugin was last updated 2 years ago , and it doesn’t work anymore. Just tested it with my WordPress install, version 4.4! Nothing happens. I recommend using “WP Autoset Featured Image Plus”...

I can see how this would be useful, though, but for my purposes and by the name of it, I was hoping it’d go through old posts and, if they didn’t have a featured image, set the first image.
