In my own blog I removed Google Fonts manually and I will explain why people should care about never using these fonts. googleapis.com is blocked in China so no one in China can see any site using Google Fonts basically it just won’t load...

now the default font in the back end is sans-serif. It’s fine for me as it’s not for the viewers.
