Worked for what I needed, which was to convert a few more posts from an old import into pages. But for ongoing work-flow, I find the prominence of the converter meta-box to be too up-front, above the Publish options box on the edit screen....

Works great when editing individual posts/pages/portfolio items. The bulk function isn’t working. Would be 5 stars if the bulk function worked!
